I Am Who God Said I Am is a song about our identity. God created us in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). Male and female He created us (Genesis 1:27). No one else and nothing else can give us our identity. We are who God says we are. We have the potential and power to do great things according to God’s purpose. The Creator is the One who knows the identity and value of the His creation. All people are created by God and the best way to know our identity, value, and purpose is by having a relationship with God.
